Pinay Mommy Writes

I realized that many women talk about beauty and skin care products but not many discuss the intimate hygiene. Maintaining personal hygiene does not only helps us to stay clean and fresh but also prevents us from other health hazards. I am so glad I discovered Beauty Library Feminine Mist while doing our monthly grocery at Robinsons Supermarket.

Beauty Library Feminine Mist comes with all-natural ingredients and also paraben-free so you can be sure of vaginal safety when using. This is also Dermatologist and Gynecologists tested.

One ingredient that caught my attention is Yogurt, which is rich in healthful probiotics or popularly called “good bacteria”.

It is available in French Rose (pink) and Green Tea (green)

Both available in 30 ml (Php 189.00) and 50 ml (Php 249.00)

pH 4.5 - 5.5

I bought the French Rose variant which has a slightly floral smell. I’ve been using this for a month now, prior to writing this review so I will be 100 percent sure of my thoughts about this product.

The packaging is simple yet classy
. All the details are imprinted on the tube itself and not on its box or plastic. The pastel color selection is perfect too.

Aside from being cruelty-free and Vegan, it is also:
🌸 Hypoallergenic
🌸 Antibacterial
🌸 an Odor neutralizer
🌸 On-the-go

I love how it dries up instantly. It doesn’t sting and with just a couple of pumps, it can keep me feeling fresh the *whole day.
*You can always reapply when you feel like it or when needed. 😉

This can be used directly to our intimate area and can also be sprayed directly to (unscented)
pantyliner to prevent odor production. 🍃

Overall, I love this product and I would love to buy once I already consumed my current tube.
I never leave our home without this especially when I am going to be outside for a long period of time. Lalo na if I am going to use a public toilet. :) So instead of the rough tissue wiping on your intimate area, this is the perfect solution to keep you feeling clean and fresh.

True to it’s saying, no more hassle - just Shake, Spritz, Pat and Go! 😍

It is so important that we need to make sure that we’re clean “down there” too, right? 🌸💕

Last Sunday, we went to SM Megamall after attending the mass.
Since I ran out of wipes already, I decided to go to Bench which offers affordable and reasonable priced producs. So my (sort of ) impulsive-buying self did not just buy wipes but ended up buying other skincare essentials and bra straps too. 😂

I have been seeing the Ever Bilena Lip and Cheek roller on my timeline and people gave positive feedback about this product.

I thought na baka this is so hyped lang, baka di naman talaga bongga.

So I decided to try it to believe it. And boy, I am so glad I did! 🙌🏼 I swatched the other shades too but my kind of lip stains are red tones talaga so I chose RED BOMB.

First off, this is how the product looks like. I love its matte black packaging, it looks so simple yet classy.
The rollers are dispensing right amount of product.

Another local drugstore #affordablemakeup I bought recently and decided to make a review to share with you guys :)
I know most of you have used this and might have been using this, I myself will include this on my kikay kit too.❤

It’s Summer time again. Having an oily skin plus the humidity makes this product a must have. 😍

I’m talking about Bench Facial Absorbent Paper

(Php 55.00 | 100 sheets)

Made in Japan 🇯🇵

Details:Keep your face shine-free anytime, anywhere with Bench/ Prescribe Facial Absorbent Paper. It effectively absorbs oil and dirt off the face to leave you looking and feeling fresh. This offering contains 100 sheets per pack.

Packaging 📦
The Facial Absorbent Papers were inside a sturdy paper envelop.

Scent 👃🏼
It doesn’t have any smell.

Thoughts 💭
I honestly did not expect too much for this product because of its price and seeing the actual paper for the first time.

But after using it I was impressed on how it absorbed the oil on my face. 😍 It is thin so you really need to be careful when using as it can be teared up easily compared to other oil control films.

Being affordable, effective and its availability, this is my favorite and my necessity every time I go out. ✔️

I also noticed that it absorbs my sweat from my face too. Talking about hitting two birds in one stone. 🙌🏽

I recommend this to skin and make up junkie out there. Really worth your money. 👌🏽

Have you tried this product too? I would love to hear your experience. 😊

Hello to all my fellow makeup junkies out there! :) I decided to make a new portion in my blog called "Mura pero benta", where I will make reviews regarding affordable beauty and skincare products. I am so excited to share them with you.

And for the first entry, I am going to share my affordable but one of my local drugstore holy grail local mascara. It's the Shawill Curling Mascara. I have been using this since college days- that's 5 years ago. And it doesn't change a bit. :)

This is how it looks like. I don't have the box anymore. :(

It contains 8g per tube
Price: Php 188.00

The tube is semi-matte in color. Looks classy and sleek. Just be careful because (for me) madulas siya. You might drop it if you are hand is pawisin. It doesn't contain the ingredients in the product tho but you can find it in the box. It has a chemical smell but not overpowering. I can't smell it when applied on my eyelashes too, so kiber.

Napansin ko lang ang mej mabigat siya 'teh unlike other mascaras that I know and have. Not an issue but I find it funny (and weird?).

This is my lashes before the application.

This is after applying the mascara. Two coats is enough for me. But you can try it if you want to add more volume in your lashes. Just my two cents but I think that if I add more coats it will bring my lashes down in the long run while wearing it. FYI. I don't have lash curler :(

I tried putting around four coats and it doesn't clump on my lashes.

This is how my lashes looks like after 8 hours. I love the effect! It made my lashes fuller.

What made this my holy grail local mascara?

It's waterproof pero once you remove it with water, it doesn't make that panda-looking eyes. No more unintentional emo look. :)

What I love:
Affordable. <3
Availability- Available on the local drugstores such as Watsons and in beauty section in the malls.
Long lasting.
Even though it is waterproof, I can easily remove it using water and gently using the cotton or even my clean fingers.

What I don't love:
None so far.

Final Verdict:

Despite being an affordable mascara, it exceeded my expectations. I love how it holds and glam up my lashes. It is really worth it to try and have in your kikay kit.

I always tell myself I can glam up without breaking the bank. And this is definitely part of my list. <3

Do you have this in your collection too? :)
I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Love,
