Staycation Reviews: BSA Twin Towers Ortigas
Summer time again! The sun is hot, the sky is clear and the school is over..
People starts to go to the beach, swimming pools, visits Baguio and other activities just to unwind and have a break. Most especially to families with kids, since school has already ended.
But we prefer staycation. I usually book thru TravelBook.ph. First, because it is cheaper compared to others. Second, I get reward points every time I book that can be used to my succeeding bookings.
We stayed at BSA Twin Towers last April 2016 for my father's birthday celebration. We chose an overnight stay since my plan was just to swim with them.
Upon arriving to the hotel, we gave them the printed reservation from TravelBook.ph. Then they gave us the electronic key card for the room and the elevators, the stab for the breakfast buffet for two persons, and a piece of paper for instructions or rather locations of the amenities of the hotel.
We purchased the Studio Deluxe but we were surprised that the room was more spacious than the picture on their website. Only to find out that they gave us a Studio Prime without additional cost. :)
Here's the Living Room Area:
- It has a huge dresser with Iron and Ironing board inside and a mirror
- Cable TV and DVD player
- And everyone's favorite- WIFI Internet connection
The bedroom area:
Jas and the birthday boy- his grandpa, and their fighting wacky pose |
- 2 duvet-covered single beds
- IDD/NDD phone
- Pillow menu
The dining area and the bathroom as you can see on the upper part of the photo:
- Fully equipped kitchen area- kettle, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, frying pan
- Fridge with ice cube tray
- Microwave oven
- Stove
Amenities
My son enjoyed the lagoon pool with Jacuzzi. It was an open pool, meaning it has no roof so it is kinda cold but refreshing. My son stayed longer in the Jacuzzi since he had cough weeks before going to the hotel.

Children's Play Room:

- The toys there was a bit old and defective. But the area has a kid-friendly design. The slide at the time we went there has no puzzle play mats at the end of the slide. Making it painful for kids when they land to the ground.
Lap Pool:
|
- We didn't swim here because it's a bit crowded when we went here. But the pool was still inviting. Will give it a try next time we visit this hotel.
Gym:

- My dad had his workout here. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go with him since it was early and I am so sleepy that time. Lol.
FINAL VERDICT:
The breakfast buffet was okay. I think it was a bit overpriced for an additional person which was around Php 400 (If I'm not mistaken)
The location of the hotel is very accessible and near to shopping malls.
Room was clean and has a really comfy beds and pillows
NO Parking space
Family-friendly
